Therapist/Clinician – Contract Position Hillsborough County Florida
Families First of Floridia is excited to announce we are partnering with the Hillsborough County School system in providing in-person mental health services to their students (K-12) at designated schools within the county. We are seeking compassionate and motivated mental health professional to join us in this program within Hillsborough County. Current identified zip code/areas are as follows: 33511/33150 (Brandon/Valrico), 33563/33567 (Plant City), 33647 (New Tampa), 33610 (East Lake), 33619 (Progress Village/Palm River, 33578/33579 (Riverview/Ruskin) 33625 (Citrus Park/Greater Northdale), Egypt Lake (33614) and 33605 (Ybor/Tampa Heights).
Imagine changing the lives of children with serious mental health and behavioral problems by helping them grow and develop through in-school individual and family outpatient therapy services! You will work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, other school personnel, and parents.

We offer a competitive contract rate for Florida Licensed LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT at a rate of $35.00 per billable, after 15 billable hours, the rate is $40.00 (this does not apply to Register Interns). Master’s level contract rate is $30 per billable hour.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
To qualify, you must hold a master’s degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education and or a human services field. In addition, a minimum of two years of professional experience in providing services to children and adults with behavioral illnesses or under the supervision of a licensed practitioner of the healing arts is preferred.
Specialties include trauma informed care, substance abuse, adoptions competency, child welfare and individual adolescent psychotherapy. Bilingual helpful, but not a requirement.

Licensed in the State of Florida as one of the following (please note not a registered intern): Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LFMT).
REQUIREMENTS:
Contractors must pass Level 2 FDLE background screen, local background screen in the county of residence, carry professional liability coverage, and have the ability to learn and utilize Electronic Health Record.
Preferred specialties include trauma informed care, substance abuse, adoptions competency, child welfare and individual adolescent psychotherapy.
