Clinical Counselor/Therapist/Outpatient Mental Health Professional – Northern and Central Florida

Are you a Master’s-level Clinician looking to grow your client base, with flexibility of setting your own schedule and the ability to complete your documentation from home through our Electronic Health Records (EHR)? Then this commission based position is for you!!!!
We provide services in the following offices/counties:

  • Tampa – Hillsborough/Pinellas/Pasco counties.
  • Lakeland – Polk/Highlands/Hardy counties.
  • Ocala – Marion/Sumter/Levy/Citrus/Alachua counties.
  • Orlando – Orange/Seminole/Osceola/Lake/Sumter/Volusia counties.
  • Tallahassee – Leon/Madison/Taylor/Jefferson/Dixie/Lafayette counties.
  • Panama City – Bay/Franklin/Gulf/Calhoun/Liberty/Wakulla/Gadsen/Jackson/Holmes/Washington counties.

To qualify, you must hold a Master’s Degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education and or a human services field (as this is a Medicaid requirement). In addition, a minimum of one to two years of professional experience in providing services to children and adults with behavioral illness or be under the supervision of a licensed practitioner of the healing arts is preferred.

Preferred specialties include trauma informed care, substance abuse, adoptions competency, child welfare and individual adolescent psychotherapy. Bilingual helpful but not a requirement.

Candidates are required to maintain a caseload of 10-15 clients (15 billable hours) with the opportunity to increase your caseload. Pay: $24.00 up to 15 hours- $25.00 per hour for 16 + hours

Employees are provided with employer paid liability insurance. Additional commission opportunities are available as well as a monthly travel allowance. Employees become eligible for 401k upon meeting plan requirements.

Employees must pass Level 2 FDLE background screen, drug screen, local background screen in county of residence, and have the ability to learn and utilize Electronic Health Record. Families First of Florida is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in the E-Verify program

Our providers deliver high quality therapeutic services utilizing a variety of techniques to address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and grief. We offer both in-home and virtual therapy based upon the needs of the clients. Master’s level clinicians work closely with their licensed supervisor, the quality assurance team, and other team members such as psychiatrists and case managers to ensure the services delivered meet the needs of the clients.
