In-Office Therapist (Master’s Level) – FTE w/benefits – Panama City

Job Description:
- Provide therapeutic services in compliance with the policies and procedures of Families First of Florida and complete all required documentation in accordance with agency standards and funders’ requirements.
- Provide in-person individual and family therapy services in-office, schools, and community settings. May conduct in-office telehealth [based on clinical need and supervisor approval].
- Complete incident and abuse reports per FFF policy and state/federals laws.
- Ensure all services comply with the requirements of the Florida Medicaid Community Behavioral Health Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook
- Ensure formal treatment plans and treatment plan reviews are developed per FFF policy and appropriate signatures are obtained.
- Engage in marketing/community outreach via phone/email/in-person contact with referral sources to establish/re-establish providers relations as directed by supervisor.
- Assist with in-person staff training/development for Office Administrator and provide coverage as needed with job functions that pertain to clinical services.
- Attend monthly clinical meetings to review program updates and meet with assigned Clinical Supervisor for case supervision to discuss caseload and professional development opportunities.
- This is a highly independent in-office position with the expectation that they will be able to be dependable and work with limited oversight.
- This position provides oversight of the Office Administrator duties, although is not the direct supervisor, and will ensure the OA is able to provide their duties as required.
- Maintain required training hours as outlined in FFF policies.
- Complete other duties as assigned in accordance with FFF policies and for the best interests of the agency.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- DSM assessing and diagnosing knowledge and practice
- Ability to manage own schedule and meet goals and expectations
- Must be proficient in the use of, and have access to, Microsoft Office and technology
- Competent in treatment theories and practice
- In-depth knowledge of Evidenced-Based Practices (can include but not limited to: TF-CBT, CBT, ERH, Substance Abuse, Solution-Focused Therapy and additional theories and practices)
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid Guidelines pertaining to Community Behavioral Health
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Master’s Degree – must meet Medicaid requirements in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or Human services
- 2+ years professional experience in providing services to children and adults with behavioral illness; or under the supervision of a licensed practitioner of the healing arts
