This is a great opportunity if you are wanting to work with pre-school aged children and their families. You can change the lives of children, adolescents and families with mental health and behavioral problems by helping them grow through individual outpatient therapy services!
Travel is required since classroom observations will be conducted in the various Head Start Schools in the Panhandle. You will be working with teachers to assist in behavior management of identified students. In addition, intake assessments, TX planning, and individual and family therapy to qualifying students, and therapy with staff if warranted.
Requirements:
Assessors must have valid Florida license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT). You must have a list of current (within the last two years) conferences and workshops attended, dedicated to relevant child and family treatment, and must carry current and valid Individual Professional Liability Insurance.
All contractors must pass a Level 2 FDLE background screen, local background screen in county of residences, and have the ability to learn and utilize Electronic Health Record.
