Requirements

Hold a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Must possess excellent writing skills and be computer literate. (Microsoft Word, Excel)

Hold a Florida Board Certification in Child Welfare (REQUIRED)

Job Duties

This position is the initial point of contact for foster parents and must represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Primarily responsible for the administrative functions of licensing, quality assurance, and management of therapeutic foster homes supporting the goals of the agency and assisting management as needed.

Responsible for the compilation of the initial licensing and annual re-licensing packet that is submitted to DCF.

Responsible for data collection and follow-up for the licensing of prospective foster parents including but not limited to the participation in foster home orientation and Professional Parenting training.

Responsible for the implementation of all licensing compliance policy in accordance with Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 65C-13.

Responsible for scheduling foster parent training and maintaining initial and annual foster parent in-service documentation.

Responsible for monitoring licensed foster homes to ensure compliance and identify / assess liability issues.

Provide the agency’s management team with objective assessment of foster home compliance and liability issues. Make recommendation accordingly.

Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation in support of the foster home licensing process.

Establish and maintain solid working relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to manage own schedule and meet goals and expectations.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and technology use.

Competent in licensing regulations and Florida State Statutes. Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 65C-13.

Educational Requirements

Families First of Florida (FFF) is a provider of children, adolescent, and adult mental health services. We have served the Tampa Bay area for over 19-years as a Licensed Care Therapeutic foster care provider and in 2013, FFF launched our Outpatient program in Central and North Florida.

We offer a competitive salary to include $800.00 per calendar year for approved clinical CEU’s.
