EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS TRAINING

Purpose:  Employability skills’ training is designed to develop solid skills in preparation for employment.  While the proper technical skills to succeed on the job are indisputably important, other skills are often over looked, such as the ability to communicate, resolve conflicts, manage one’s time, work within a team and resolve conflicts. Often business managers seek employees with these skills and those who require little or no training to maintain them.

The program at Families First of Florida will be taught over a two-day workshop.  The first day will be comprised of an overview of the program and focusing on twelve  employment factors needed to gain employment.  All participants must be aged 14 to 17 years old to participate.
