Master’s Level Mental Health Field Therapist / Clinician – Northern and Central Florida

We provide services in the following offices/counties:
- Tampa – Hillsborough/Pinellas/Pasco counties.
- Lakeland – Polk/Highlands/Hardy counties.
- Ocala – Marion/Sumter/Levy/Citrus/Alachua counties.
- Orlando – Orange/Seminole/Osceola/Lake/Sumter counties.
- Tallahassee – Leon/Madison/Taylor/Jefferson/Dixie/Lafayette counties.
- Panama City – Bay/Franklin/Gulf/Calhoun/Liberty/Wakulla/Gadsen/Jackson/Holmes/Washington counties.
To qualify, you must hold a Master’s Degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education and or a human services field (as this is a Medicaid requirement). In addition, a minimum of one to two years of professional experience in providing services to children and adults with behavioral illness or be under the supervision of a licensed practitioner of the healing arts is preferred.
Preferred specialties include trauma informed care, substance abuse, adoptions competency, child welfare and individual adolescent psychotherapy. Bilingual helpful but not a requirement.
Candidates are required to maintain a caseload of 10-15 clients (15 billable hours) with the opportunity to build your caseload to full time.
Employees are provided with employer paid liability insurance. Additional commission opportunities are available as well as a monthly travel allowance. Employees become eligible for 401k upon meeting plan requirements.
Employees must pass Level 2 FDLE background screen, drug screen, local background screen in county of residence, and have the ability to learn and utilize Electronic Health Record.
